Lawrenceville Elementary School students, staff and parents raised $15,833 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s mission to raise awareness and funds to cure kids’ cancer by supporting cancer research and fellowships. Team LES was represented by 19 shavees, who committed to shaving their head in return for donations.

The team, led by kindergarten teacher Jeffery Berry, surpassed their fundraising goal of $15,000 and raised $3,000 more than last year’s efforts.

Teaching assistant and licensed cosmetologist, Denise Barash, shaved team members heads.
