Lawrenceville Music in the Park series to begin June 13

Lawrenceville Main Street’s free 10-week Music in the Park series is set to being June 13.

Concerts are scheduled for Thursday evenings at 7 p.m at Weeden Park, located on Main Street south of Craven Lane in Lawrenceville.

Each week, a local restaurant will offer reasonably priced a la carte dinners at the Concert Café. It is set to open at 6:30 p.m. before the performance and is cash only.

This summer’s program of ten free performances is sponsored by the Lawrence Township Community Foundation and Roma Bank.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs.

In the event of inclement weather, concert cancellations will be announced via a recorded message on (609) 219-9300 and on the LMS Facebook page after 4 pm on the day of the event.

The series kicks-off on with Lawrence Community Concert Band and Chambers Walk Café and Catering in the Concert Café on June 13.

June 20 is Darla Rich Quartet with Leonardo’s II in the café.

June 27 is Carnaby Street with Fedora Nice ‘N EZ Café and Catering in the café.

July 11 is The VooDUDES with Leonardo’s II in the café.

July 18 is The DADZ with Buttons Creperie in the café.

July 25 is Combo Bossa Nova with Fedora Nice ‘N EZ Café and Catering in the café.

August 1 is Off the Map with TJ’s Pizzeria and Pasta in the café.

August 8 is Riverside Bluegrass with The Purple Cow in the café.

August 15 is Reock & Roll Revue with Acacia in the café.

August 22 is The Aldrich Brothers Band with Chambers Walk Café and Catering in the café.

Lawrenceville Main Street is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to fostering a sense of community and continuing the revitalization of its historic downtown area by organizing events, building partnerships, cultivating the business environment, and enhancing the physical setting of the Village of Lawrenceville.
