Free Christmas concert set for Dec. 14

A free Christmas concert called Tidings of Comfort & Joy is scheduled Dec. 14.

The program features Christmas hymns, carols and the Hallelujah chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

The concert is set to take place in Hopewell Presbyterian Church’s newly renovated sanctuary. It is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Complimentary cocoa and cookies will be served.

Tidings of Comfort and Joy is presented by the Hopewell Council of Churches, including First Calvary Baptist Church, Second Calvary Baptist Church, Hopewell Methodist Church, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and Hopewell Presbyterian Church.

Hopewell Presbyterian Church is located at the intersection of Broad and Louellen streets in Hopewell Borough.
