Bad Government

With Hurricane Sandy approaching on October 29, a West Windsor Council meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. was rescheduled to noon that day. That same day the News received this letter:

This West Windsor Council meeting re-scheduled for today at noon — with barely 1 hour and 15 minutes’ notice — is illegal!

Business transacted without adequate public notice is government decision-making at its worst since there is not an opportunity for public comment on the agenda. At least the meeting will be videotaped for actionable evidence to be submitted to the State DCA, right?

Since the faux leadership of the Township rests with the mayor, one must assume he is the architect behind this reprehensible action.

How can Hsueh, as Emperor, be the self-anointed Director of Public Safety and then hold a public meeting when the state of New Jersey is within a declared State of Emergency? This is a classic example of those who would lead from behind.
