It is with deep gratitude that I would like to thank the West Windsor Police, Fire Department, Emergency Personnel, and Township officials for their thorough preparation and swift response to Hurricane Sandy. Their coordinated effort to keep residents safe and fully informed throughout the unprecedented disaster was extraordinary. A day before the storm, township crews removed leaves and brush from our neighborhood streets to prevent flooding, even though our regularly scheduled pick up was completed just a week before.

The firefighters and emergency personnel, many of whom are volunteers, along with our dedicated police force, responded to calls during and after the storm with great speed and care. We are fortunate to have such outstanding emergency personnel working on our behalf.
