The West Windsor Retirees Group and the Village Grande Civic Association are sponsoring a debate between the area’s congressional and senate candidates on Wednesday, October 20, at the West Windsor Municipal Building.

State Senate candidates Tom Goodwin and Linda Greenstein in District 14 will debate from 2 to 3 p.m. Congressional candidates Rush Holt and Scott Sipprelle in District 12 are scheduled to debate from 3 to 4 p.m. Candidate Kenneth Cody declined the invitation to the debate. Holt was invited, but as of press time, had not confirmed whether he would attend.

The debates will be broadcast live over local Verizon Channel 41 and Comcast Channel 27 and re-broadcast on those channels in intervals until the general election on Tuesday, November 2.

Written questions from the audience will be reviewed by an independent panel and presented by a moderator to the candidates.
