Kniewel Statement Misses the Point

After reading the letter from Victoria Kniewel, our school superintendent, in your last issue, it seems two questions are properly put to Dr. Kniewel:

Are you aware that a young man has died? And do you care about that fact?

That Dr. Kniewel fails to acknowledge this most fundamental circumstance surrounding “this issue,” as it is so vaguely put, suggests that cause for concern among the parents of present and future WWP students about indifference to others starts right at the top.
