The third in a series of programs offered by the West Windsor Republican Club will be a presentation on the budget process in local municipalities and school districts, which will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 10:30 a.m., at the municipal building.

The presentation will cover how the annual budget is prepared and reviewed and how citizens can give input. It will also cover other sources of revenue that are used besides tax dollars; how officials decide what to include into the capital portion of the budget and how it gets funded; and how the annual tax rate is determined.

Speakers at the event will be Robert Bruschi — former West Windsor business administrator and currently the business administrator in Princeton Borough — and Larry Shanok, the assistant superintendent of finance at the WW-P school district.

The event is free and all interested citizens are encouraged to attend. The program will take place in council chambers at the municipal building. Seating capacity is limited to the first 70 attendees. Light refreshments will be available from 10 to 10:30 a.m., and the program will start at 10:30. A question and answer session will follow.
