As co-presidents of the Community Middle School PTSA, we are writing to thank all the community members who so generously supported our sporting equipment recycling project at the GroWW event on October 3. The PTSA’s Athletes for Action Club collected a plethora of sporting equipment that has been donated to Home Front. This much needed equipment will help jump start Home Front’s youth athletics program.

More than 20 student club members, and several parents, spent the day sorting the hundreds of donations that covered a wide array of sports including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, lacrosse, ice hockey, field hockey, figure skating, and golf. We were able to fill three SUVs with sporting equipment. AFA is proud to have been a part of this important day. We look forward to partnering with GroWW in the future.
