Last month close to 200 West Windsor and Plainsboro residents sang for the seniors at four area nursing homes and assisted living centers. The singers were Girl Scouts, leaders, and their family members.

“The scouts made ornaments and brought treats to present to the seniors after they finished singing,” says Kate Henkel, the event organizer and song leader.

They sang at Meadow Lakes Assisted Living, Hightstown; Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hamilton Square; Bear Creek Assisted Living, West Windsor; and Hamilton Continuing Care Facility, Hamilton.
