West Windsor and Plainsboro musicians who are members of the Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey are presenting two concerts at Richardson Auditorium on the same day (Sunday, January 25). Tickets are $10.

The 3 p.m. concert features the String Preparatory Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Saxophone Ensemble, Woodwind Choir, and the Pro Arte Orchestra playing works by Mozart, Copland, Debussy, and Sousa.

The 7 p.m. concert features the Symphonic Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the Saxophone Choir with works by Liszt, Goldmark, Piazzola, and Debussy.

Youth Orchestra auditions for strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion take place on Tuesday, January 27, at 4 p.m., at High School North. Register for appointment and download forms and requirements at www.yocj.org. Note that the audition requirements form must be signed by your private teacher and brought with you to your audition.

The orchestra, under the guidance of artistic director John Enz and conductors Phillip Pugh and Brian Woodward, rehearse every Tuesday evening at High School North.
