Dear Editor:

While Thanksgiving is still a month away, it looks like the people of West Windsor will have something to be thankful for on Tuesday, October 21.##M:[more]##

After years of debating how the land surrounding the Princeton Junction Train Station should be redeveloped, the Council will be reviewing its own redevelopment plan that night and hopefully adopting it.

This meeting, at 7pm, will culminate all of the work that has taken place in recent months. It would incorporate a plan with private investment that would not cost taxpayers a nickel, yet would fix the local road network, create a “”residents only”” parking deck and pump some life into Route 571.

This is a meeting that all of West Windsor should attend, as our elected leaders will be talking about our future and redevelopment that will occur.

I thank our Mayor & Council in advance for pushing the ball so far and making redeveloment a reality. It certainly is an excellent opportunity for the township, and will benefit each and every resident for generations to come.

Gail Baker
