South Perfection Is On the Line

Now at 10-0, the South football team is hosting the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group IV semifinal game against Sayreville on Saturday, November 22, at 1 p.m.##M:[more]##

The Pirates handily defeated Middletown North, 40-22, last week. Led by record-breaking quarterback Connor Farrell, who went 17-for-21, including three touchdown passes, without being intercepted against Middletown North, the Pirates will face a team that brings a 7-2 record into the game.

Against Middletown North, Dave Twamley recorded 24 carries for 134 yards and two touchdowns, while Jack Dennehy had six receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns.

If South wins it will face the winner of the South Brunswick-Brick Memorial game for the state title, over the weekend of December 5 and 6.
