WW-P Track Seniors Strike Gold

The indoor track season is in some ways a lead-in to the more competitive spring track season. In the winter season, teams compete more in group meets than in spring, where there are more events, and more dual meets between schools.

In the season-ending championship meets this winter, several WW-P athletes placed well, but none more impressively than the two senior stand-outs, Holland Thomas from North and Andrew Long from South, who both won gold medals in their events at the Mercer County Championships in February.

The two will compete in one more season for their schools. If their performances this winter are any indication, they will be the two to beat against every school they meet.
