Plan C, “The Town Center,” would require relocating Schlumberger from Wallace Road. ##M:[more]##It includes office buildings built in place of the Sarnoff similar to Plan A. On the west side of the tracks, two parking garages would be wrapped by mixed-use buildings. Like Plan B, This plan includes apartment housing only in the transit village, and 200,”000 square feet of retail, along with 800,”000 square feet of office space. It has the potential for 7,”600 parking spaces. Hillier’s estimates show that the plan would bring 300 more school children to the township.

On the east side of the tracks, Wallace Road would be reconfigured so two roads formed a triangle. In the middle of two roads would be green space, and each of the roads would be lined with mixed-use buildings, wrapping both a parking structure and the power station. In this plan, the Acme shopping center would be moved north and replaced with one and two-bedroom apartments.

In order to bring this plan to completion, the township might have to use its power of eminent domain, and township officials including Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh have said the township will only use that power as a last resort.
