Hillier Architects, the firm hired to create the embattled West Windsor redevelopment plan, has merged with Edinburgh, Scotland-based RMJM.##M:[more]##Hillier, which has offices in West Windsor, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., says its current clients, including the township of West Windsor, will not be affected by the $30 million deal.

“The merger opens up terrific new opportunities for us to serve our clients globally,” says Bradley Walter, a Hillier Architect and West Windsor resident. “It also highlights the importance of West Windsor within a global knowledge-based economy, and we are thrilled to be able to offer our staff greater opportunities both at home and abroad.”

Walter, a former member of the West Windsor planning board, has been part of the redevelopment project since the township hired Hillier last November. “Our team working on the West Windsor Redevelopment Plan remains in place, with no change in staff, and we will continue to be based right here in West Windsor. We look forward to learning from our new colleagues at RMJM, and building on an even greater combined depth of experience in urban and regional planning.”
