Heidi Gomes of West Windsor is on a one-year assignment with the Pediatric AIDS Corps serving children and their families in resource-poor areas. The joint program of Baylor College of Medicine and the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation provided a four-week training course in pediatric HIV/AIDS and tropical medicine at Baylor. Gomes is one of nine new medical doctors assigned to Lesotho.
