Katie McCormick and Rachel Taub were grand prize winners in the Princeton Junction Post Office’s Dog Bite Awareness Poster Contest. Both third grade students at Hawk School, they worked on their entry together and shared the postal service’s Love Puppy and Golden Retriever plush toys.

Runners up included Charles de Augustin, a first grade student at Hawk, and Irene Kruse, a fourth grader at Village School.

All three of the winning posters will be on display in the lobby of the post office for one year and each artist received a mailbox coin bank.

The post office will be sponsoring more events for community residents in the summer months. The next event is the Teddy Bears Picnic and All-Bear Revue on Saturday, July 23, at the post office.
