Close to a dozen high school students from West Windsor and Plainsboro are participating in Governor’s School, a prestigious and competitive program for New Jersey high school students to attend between their junior and senior years at high school.

The Arts Program is held at the College of New Jersey. Attendees from High School North include YaJing Huang, visual arts; Sabina Carlson, creative writing; Radhika Gharpure, music, viola; and Stephanie Sun, music, percussion. Trishna Amin, a voice major from High School South, is an alto.

The Science Program is held at Drew University in Madison. Attendees include Josephine Li from High School South and Alex Yang from High School North.

The Environmental Studies Program is held at Richard Stockton College in Pomona. Attendees include Kelly Nigh from High School South.

The International Studies Program is held at Ramapo College in Mahwah. Attendees include Silpa Kowali from High School North and Remi Meehan from High School South.

The Public Issues Program is held at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. Students include, Kimberly Dong, from High School North, and Rachel Stephenson from High School South.

The Engineering and Technology Program is held at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. John Chang from High School North is attending.
