New Eagle Scout

Aidan Jackman, 16, of Plainsboro was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on June 12. He is a student at St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen.

A member of Boy Scout Troop 759 in Plainsboro, he joined the troop as a Cub Scout in 1995. His scouting career includes 39 merit badges, 185 service hours, 97 camping nights, 107 hiking hours, 12 special awards, and three leadership positions.##M:[more]##

His project was the construction of a storage building at Animal Placement Agency of the Windsors (APAW) on South Post Road in West Windsor. With the help of fellow scouts, he built an exact replica of an existing storage shed.

“The project saved the shelter close to $1,”000,” said shelter manager Stephanie Brocksbank. “We desperately needed a new shed.”
