Power Was On, But Info Lacking

I did not lose power during the storm — however, I found a serious lack of information about the local situation. While I had TV, there was nothing on Channel 3, the local station. The Plainsboro Township website did have some storm updates. But it was not easy to access. The public library in Plainsboro (unlike Princeton and West Windsor) had no updates on whether or not they were open. But I wondered how anyone without power could know what was going on. I don’t know the answer, but this is something to work on for the next emergency.

Megaphones? Mobile cell phone chargers? Perhaps assemble some ideas so people (like a senior citizen friend with no computer) can get messages regarding roads, services, etc. Even the newspapers’ websites had little — no central source for information.
