Letter: Move forward with solar microgrid

Share post:

The proposed solar microgrid for West Windsor is a necessary and significant preventive measure to fight global warming. Unless we take such preventive measures, we may be victim to several Hurricane Sandys in the years to come as attested to by extreme weather events seen recently.

The solar grid as proposed will not only provide financial and environmental benefits by providing clean air and cheap electricity for our West Windsor community but will create an environmental legacy for the common good that our children will be thankful for in the years to come.

Solar energy is expanding rapidly worldwide with state and local governments taking the lead. We must embrace this new tech which is here to stay. So let’s move forward and continue to build West Windsor as the most desirable community to live in which is environmentally safe for generations to come.
