The meeting will feature guest speaker Phil Witt with a presentation on “Landscape and Scenic Photography.” The presentation will focus on techniques used to photograph landscapes and scenic images. In addition to reviewing equipment selection and use, the topics of time of day, weather, composition and light will be covered. The use of filters- such as neutral density and graduated neutral density filters- to control dynamic range and exposure time will be discussed. The talk will further address a variety of techniques for capturing scenes ranging from the grandeur of the Rockies to the geysers of Yellowstone to the more subdued landscapes of the Delmarva Peninsula.
