Lawrence Township Meals on Wheels is looking for drivers.

Lawrence Township Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers to help deliver hot meals to local residents in need of the service. Meals on Wheels said recipients of the meals are often elderly or recovering from an operation or illness and cannot fully cope for themselves.

Meals are prepared in the kitchens of the ARC of Mercer County. Meals are delivered within Lawrence Township Monday through Friday by single volunteers or couples. Meals on Wheels said volunteers typically spend two hours one day a week delivering meals.

Interested volunteers should contact Joyce Stilwell at (609)-392-0001 or online at ltmw.org, and click on “how to help.”
