The new Lightbridge Academy is set to open in Lawrence in October. Located at 100 Federal City Road, Building B, the academy is enrolling students ages six weeks to five years. The center will also provide afterschool and summer camp programs for children up to 13 years of age.

“Lightbridge Academy has a family feel rather than a corporate feel, which is important to me,” franchise owner Galina Flider said.

The newly constructed, 8,500-sq.-ft. center offers enhanced services to support the working parent including extended hours (7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.), a biometric finger scanning security system, and ParentView internet monitoring system, which allows parents to stay

“Lightbridge Academy embodies an exceptional curriculum while maintaining the highest safety protocol and an environment conducive to creating strong bonds of caring and friendship,” said center director Francesca Trudeau.

Lightbridge Academy currently has more than 75 child care centers open or under development throughout New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
