The 10th annual New Jersey State History Fair is set to take place at Washington Crossing State Park in May.
The event covers four centuries of New Jersey history and marks the 350th Anniversary of the state.
Exhibitors are set to present hundreds of activities and demonstrations from 1650 to 1950 for all ages and interests.
Spiritual heritage will be the focus at the park’s Johnson Ferry House. Activities include singing colonial-era hymns and a question and answer session with Princeton University’s third president Reverend Jonathan Edwards and his wife Sarah.
In addition, Johnson Ferry House visitors can try farm chores and kitchen gardening, watch a Dutch American hearth meal be prepared, and listen to harpsichord and recorder music.
The History Fair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 10. This is a rain or shine event.
Admission is free. Parking is $8.
