Registration is now open for the Hopewell Valley Youth Soccer Camp, which offers boys and girls ages 6 to 14 of all skill levels an opportunity to develop and improve their soccer skills.

Each camper is grouped by age, ability and playing experience. Programs build player confidence by helping each student achieve success at their own individual level. Training will have an emphasis on developing individual technical skills together with an understanding the tactical aspects of the game.

Sessions will consist of an active warm-up and technical skills introduction and practice to be followed by a progression of small-sided activities and games designed to encourage the player’s application of technical skills.

The Hopewell Valley Youth Soccer Camp will be led by HVCHS head girls soccer coach John McGinley and HVCHS head boys soccer coach Ed Gola along with members of the girls and boys varsity soccer teams, offering a small camper-staff ratio to ensure that every player receives individual attention.

The camp runs from Monday, Aug. 6 to Thursday, Aug. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. It will be held at Hopewell Valley Central High School’s Ackerson Turf Field, 259 Pennington-Titusville Road, Pennington. Camp fees are $75 before July 15 and $90 after. Visit their website to register or for more information.
