Princeton Academy squash team ended their season undefeated with a record of 6-0.

In addition to defeating Princeton Day, Princeton Junior and Radnor schools, several players competed in a national tournament.

Head coach Matt Trowbridge took six players to compete in the 2014 National Middle School Squash Championships in New Haven, Conn. Trowbridge chose eighth graders Henry Howe and Nicholas McLean and seventh grader Conrad Ketting of Princeton, sixth grader Christian Bae of Pennington, seventh grader Raghav Pemmireddy of Somerset and eighth grader Robert Vogel of Yardley, Pa., for the tournament.

The players went up against 16 other teams in their division and ended up taking fourth place — the highest Princeton Academy has ever been seeded in its three years of participating in the competition.

The players exceeded several personal bests during the tournament. Vogel excelled in the semi finals, ending up only two points away from upsetting Rye Country Day. In the quarterfinals, Princeton Academy turned the tables by beating St. Luke’s, which had won the previous year.
