Washington Crossing’s Open Air Theatre will host performances of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, set to open Oct. 10 through Oct. 19.

Inspired loosely by Charles Dickens’ unfinished mystery novel, characters portrayed by actors at the Theatre Royal Music Hall investigate the sudden disappearance of Edwin Drood. Suspicious fingers point to the dashing but villainous John Jasper, Drood’s lovely finacée Rosa Bud, opium den owner Princess Puffer and two mysterious siblings Helena and Neville Landless. The ending will be determined by the audience’s vote.

Performances will take place on Oct. 10, 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and again on Oct. 17, 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under. They can be purchased at the Open Air Box Office until one half-hour prior to the performance. Group discount rates are available.

The Open Air Theatre is located inside Washington Crossing State Park, 355 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road in Titusville. For more information visit downtownpac.com or call (267) 885-9857.
