Hopewell Valley YMCA adds two new board members

The Hopewell Valley YMCA has the appointed two new members to its board of directors.

Kathleen Riewe and Annemarie Hofacker have joined board members Ryan Kennedy (president), Thomas Finn (first vice president), Adriene Presti (second vice president), Suzette Belder-Carr (secretary), Daniel Hanley (treasurer) and members Michael Baldorossi, Jude Martin-Cianfano and Heather O’Connell.

Riewe, a pediatrician, is a Pennington resident who has been with Princeton Nassau Pediatrics since 2009. Before that she had been at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Hofacker serves on the Pennington Parks and Recreation Commission and has served as the vice president of the PTO at Toll Gate and as a board member of the Junior League of Greater Princeton. Hofacker grew up in Hopewell Township and has long been associated with the Hopewell Valley YMCA, first as a child in the Y’s rec basketball program and now as a parent whose children have participated in the YMCA’s youth sports and after school enrichment programs.

Hofacker has volunteered with the organization’s annual benefit committee for the past three years. Her husband Brian has volunteered as a youth sports coach.

“We are proud to welcome these talented community leaders to our board,” said Hopewell Valley YMCA CEO, Douglas Pszczolkowski in a media release. “With their experience and unwavering commitment to serving our community, Ms. Hofacker and Dr. Riewe will be valuable additions to a strong board dedicated to improving the lives of children, families and adults throughout Hopewell Valley.”
