Civil War scholar James McPherson spoke to Toll Gate Grammar School students about Abraham Lincoln at the school’s Presidents’ Day assembly. McPherson is a Professor Emeritus of US History at Princeton University. In 1989, he won the Pulitzer Prize for his book Battle Cry for Freedom.
