Mercerville printing and marketing company, Sir Speedy, is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Dave and Joanne Kaplan opened the franchise location at 3100 Quakerbridge Road in 1983. They recently renewed their franchise agreement with Sir Speedy.

The Kaplan’s have seen many changes to the printing and marketing industry.

“The printing industry has changed significantly in the last 30 years, but from the very beginning we have focused on quality and service, and today we continue to offer our customers whatever they need to meet their business objectives,” Dave Kaplan said in a statement.

Development in digital technology allows customers to print as brochures, direct mail, flyers, manuals, and posters and signs faster and cheaper. Additionally, customers can order online, create mobile marketing campaigns and use web design tools on the Sir Speedy’s website.

The Kaplan’s said they are focused on helping business develop. When customers come into Sir Speedy they ask “how can we help your business grow?” not “not do you have any printing needs?”

Sir Speedy Mercerville has received the franchise’s Top 25 and Century Club awards for being one of the top producing locations worldwide.

Sir Speedy is active in the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Mid-Jersey Chamber of Commerce.

The Mercerville location is one of more than 500 Sir Speedy stores worldwide.
