Scholarship Car Show set for Aug. 17

An antique and classic car show to benefit Hamilton scholarship winners is set for Aug. 17.

The Scholarship Car Show is sponsored by the Hamilton Township Education Association and the General Motors Collectors of America AACA.

The show is set for the German American Club picnic grounds, 215 Uncle Pete’s Road, Yardville. Proceeds from show attendance is set to be donated to a scholarship fund for graduating seniors from the Hamilton Township School System in June 2014.

Car owners are set to display their antique and classic cars of varying makes, models and years.

Food will be available from the GAC and merchandise vendors. Door prizes donated by local vendors will be given to show participants.

Show car owners can register at the gate on the day of the show. One hundred participants are set to receive an award.

The rain date for the show will be Sunday, August 18th.

Admission is $10.
