Princeton Day School students act out a scene in ‘As You Like It.’

Princeton Day School’s fall production of As You Like It was nominated for seven New Jersey High School Theatre Awards.

Theater director Stan Cahill announced that PDS was the only school to receive a nomination in every acting category.

Cahill said more than 75 schools across New Jersey competed for these awards and few besides PDS received as many nominations.

Hopewell resident Emma Rosenthal, class of 2014, was nominated for Outstanding Female Lead.

Senior Taylor Fasolo, of Pennington, was nominated for Outstanding Male Lead.

Ewing resident Jay Mack, a junior, was nominated for Outstanding Male Supporting Role.

Senior Jessica Toltzis, of Yardley, Pa., was nominated for for Outstanding Female Supporting Role.

In addition, the cast and crew was received nominations for Outstanding Costume Design, Live Music and Production of a Classical Play.

Last year, PDS received eight nominations and brought home awards for Best Ensemble and Best Direction for the production of Anon(ymous).

The award ceremony is scheduled for May 12 at Montclair State University.
