Meals on Wheels of Mercer County will hold its 24th Annual Golf Outing on Thursday, June 9 at Mountain View Golf Club in Ewing. This year, Meals on Wheels will honor Ewing Mayor Bert Steinmann with the Baker award.
In addition to golf, they will be offering a beverage cart on the course—unlimited beer and wine—included in the ticket price and dinner. Hole-In-One Prizes will be also offered, with a hole-in-one on one of the four par 3 holes participants can win $5,000, a cruise for two, roundtrip airfare for two or an electronics package.
In 2015, Meals on Wheels of Mercer County delivered 40,000 hot, nutritious meals to 350 homebound, elderly and disabled residents of Mercer County. Their goal is to ensure that no one who needs a meal will be turned away.
