Ewing High teacher facing charges after sending ‘inappropriate’ messages to student

A Ewing High School teacher was charged with three counts of child endangerment after she sent inappropriate messages to a male student.

According to a statement from Ewing police, Chelsea Hahn sent inappropriate photos and messages to a male student on social media. She was charged with three counts of child endangerment and released, pending future court proceedings.

A letter released by the school district stated that Hahn has been suspended pending further action and is no longer allowed on Board of Education property.

Hahn also worked as a substitute teacher in Robbinsville High School and the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District.

The Ewing Township Police Department is investigating the incident along with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation is ongoing, and police ask that anyone with additional information contact Det. David Morris, 609-882-1313, ext. 5561.
