Over 10,000 guests attended Bordentown’s RiverFest last year, and organizers hope this year’s event is even bigger. RiverFest, hosted by Hope Hose Human Co. No. 1 and Marcello’s, is set for Saturday, Oct. 21 from noon to 10 p.m. at the Bordentown City Beach. RiverFest coincides with Hope Hose’s 250th anniversary this year. The event will consist of a four-acre beer garden with over 12 beers on tap as well as wine, over 15 restaurants, live bands all day, over 24 unique vendors and a free kids area, the Bordentown Home for Funeral’s Kids Corner with bounce attractions, magicians and face painters.
Conveniences include onsite restrooms, free parking plus shuttle services from three offsite locations, ATM machines and several tents.
Donations are accepted at the entrance, and funds raised go towards Hope Hose. Drink passes, which include three beers and a souvenir mug, are $15 in advance. Day-of drink passes are $20. Extra beer tickets may be purchased as needed on site. Presale passes can be purchased at
or at the RiverFest Cranberry Festival booth. Bags will be checked at the gate prior to entry. Refusal to have your bag searched by security or police will result in denial of entry to the event.
