There is still an opportunity for Burlington County’s unemployed residents to receive free career training through state grants obtained by Burlington County College.

A free Manufacturing Technician Training Program Information Session is scheduled for 10 a.m. Aug. 12 at the Mount Laurel Campus in Laurel Hall, room 320.

In partnership with the N.J. Department of Labor and Burlington County One-Stop, the college is offering four training programs to unemployed residents: Electronic Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Emergency Dispatchers and Financial Services.

The programs are made possible through the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Opportunity4Jersey grant, which enables colleges to provide free career training to unemployed job seekers.

For more information, contact BCC’s Dean of Corporate College and Continuing Education Roy Miller at rmiller@bcc.edu.
