Brian Zhao, a June graduate from High School South, received the 2005 Jan Trenholm Memorial Scholarship Award presented by the Friends of the West Windsor Library for his extensive volunteer activities at the library.
Zhao was an enthusiastic force in creating the S4S summer programs, including spelling bees, vocabulary fun, brain teasers, optical illusions writing, and math games. The S4S programs also included SAT tutoring, homework help, food drives, and special programs.
Zhao, also concert master of the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra, will attend Princeton University this fall.
