Opportunity is knocking for Plainsboro residents who have been thinking about getting involved in their community. The township is looking for volunteers to serve on various boards and committees that currently have or will have vacancies.##M:[more]##

The openings include Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Environmental Advisory Committee, Cable TV Advisory Committee, Human Relations Council, Library Board of Trustees, Public Assistance Board, and the Shade Tree Advisory Committee.

Residents can call the clerk’s office — 609-799-0909, ext. 547 — for information. The township is looking to have residents apply by Thanksgiving so the applications can be distributed and examined by the Township Committee, which will appoint new members in January.
