Be a part of Art All Night-Trenton by making artwork at The Big Draw set for May 4.

The Big Draw is Art All Night’s fifth annual Art Making Day, which helps the organization collect submissions for their June event.

During the day, three Trenton-based venues are set to host workshops and activities that encourage children and families to experiment, play, communicate and collaborate through drawing. Workshops are scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Art Making Day locations are set to include Artworks on Everett Alley, Gallery 219 at 219 Hanover Street and Ellarslie City Museum in Cadwalader Park.

Free art supplies for The Big Draw are set to be provided by Artworks, I Am Trenton Community Foundation and Jerry’s Artarama.

After creating a piece at Art Making Day, participants can register it to hang at Art All Night scheduled for June 15 and 16.

Art All Night is a 24-hour art and entertainment festival hosted by Artworks in the Roebling Wire Works factory building. Event organizers expect an audience of 20,000 attendees.
