The WAGS FTC Team #6037, an all-girl robotics team, has advanced to the state championships. The team received the Connect award for community outreach and was the runner-up for the Inspire award at the FIRST Tech Challenge Qualification Tournament. This is the second year in a row that this two-year-old team has advanced to the state championships.

Team members include High School South students Anisha Amurthur, Smiti Srinivasan, Anusha Chintalapati, Nithi Subbaian, and Christina Rancan, all in 10th grade. High School North students include Nikita Nangia, grade 10; and Ashika Ganesh, grade 12. Completing the team are Lisa D’Souza, grade 10, Princeton High School; and Caroline Cardinale, grade 9, Hun School.

WAGS Robotics is coached by Jan Cardinale, Andrea Mandel, and Helen Rancan.
