Princeton Jazz Ensemble to perform with the Respect Sextet

The Princeton University Concert Jazz Ensemble is set to perform on May 10 at 8 p.m. in Richardson Auditorium.

The ensemble will be joined by the Respect Sextet, which features Princeton graduate Eli Asher as trumpeter and composer. The Respect Sextet is dedicated to performing improvisational music.

They will be performing the music of Dave Holland, Charles Mingus, Pat Metheny, Bob Mintzer and Ed Neumeister.

The performance will be conducted by Dr. Anthony D.J. Branker, the founder and director of the program in jazz studies who is finishing his 25th season as conductor of the Princeton University Concert Jazz Ensemble with this performance.

Tickets are $15.
