Three Princeton residents won gold in the Greater Mercer County Middle School Wrestling Tournament in February.

Princeton Academy students Steven Kopits, Omar Khan and Matthew Dev won first place in their weight classes in the junior varsity division. Additionally, the team attained its first win at the varsity level since 2010.

The team competed against 12 public schools in the tournament.

The Princeton Academy wrestling team finished the 2013-2014 season with a 2-2 record.

The Hawks came across many cancellations, conflicts and illnesses that only allowed them to squeeze in four meets. The team was able to break even by nabbing two wins against Rutgers Prep to offset two losses against Pingry School in Basking Ridge.
