Princeton Day School is set to present “Art for Books,” an exhibition featuring the artwork of Paul O. Zelinsky.
The exhibit will open at the Anne Reid ‘72 Art Gallery on March 31 and will run through April 24.
While Zelinsky grew up in Wilmette, Illinois, he spent the early years of his childhood in Princeton.
He has been illustrating books for the past 35 years, and is the Caldecott Award-winning illustrator of Rapunzel, Hansel and Gretel, Rumplestiltskin and Swamp Angel.
There will be a gallery talk on April 24 from 11 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a reception for the artist. Both events are free and open to the public.
Zelinsky’s exhibit is part of the Imagine the Possibilities guest artist series at Princeton Day School.
The exhibit is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday when PDS is in session and by appointment on weekends.
