Emiko Edwards was a recent winner of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association Master Class Competition conducted by Jerome Lowenthal from Juilliard School. She performed “L’Alouette” (The Lark) by Russian composer Mikhail Glinka. She will be performing in the Eastern Regional Competition in Ithaca, New York on January 14 as a result of her win in Music Teachers National Association competition (The News, November 18).##M:[more]##
Josh Suslak, a sophomore at High School South, played solo piano All States Orchestra on November 20. He performed the four movements of Pini di Rome by Ottorino Respighi.
