Russell Marks held a booksigning for his adventure mystery, “Nematodes,” on May 28 at Princeton Windrows. A resident of the independent living community, he has written numerous short stories and is also an artist, working primarily in abstract, three-dimensional sculpture. He is currently working on a sequel to “Nematodes.”##M:[more]##

“I was a businessman most of my life, but always wanted to write a novel,” said Marks, 75. “My wife and I lived in Peru for about 10 years where I managed a sugar company.” The setting and character ideas come from that environment.

Marks is a graduate of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He was the president of Miami-based Phelps Dodge International Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of copper products; and former president of the Americas Society, a public policy forum based in New York City.

Marks serves as chairman of two Princeton-based education organizations, International Schools Services and People & Stories: Gente y Cuentos.

The book is available at Labyrinth Books in Princeton or online through Xlibris at www.Xlibris.com or Amazon.com.
