Artwork by adults and youth from Plainsboro and West Windsor will be on display at the Plainsboro Recreation and Cultural Center through Aug. 31.
The works were created by students of Vandana Nanda, a resident of Plainsboro, who has been teaching art for the last five years. Also on display is some of Nanda’s artwork.
Nanda, who holds degrees in illustration and graphic designing, says she started drawing and sketching at a very young age, winning several awards in painting competitions in school and college.
She says she gained extensive experience in different mediums and styles, including seascapes, landscapes, florals, abstracts and portraits.
“Adapting to the changing digital world, I honed my digital skills, including the utilization of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office,” she said.
Nanda has also taken several courses in film and digital photography and worrks as a professional photographer.

Students whose works are featured in the exhibition are Jeffrey Yang, Charley Yang, Aryan Dornala, Eric Lin, Maxim Lin, Vedaswini Kabra, Padma Sriram, Aditi Katiyar, Arnav Katiyar, Ved Chand, Amanda Niola, Rithvik Mattipalli, Samhita Matipalli, Saranya Mandipaty, Shetra Grende, Saishnav Grende, Richa Shah, Pooja Shukla, Sanya Shah, Isha Patel, Dhara Patel, Abha Pokar, Abizer Chinwala, Mehreen Chinwala, Mythili Ganti, Saicharan Narendran and Josh Zhang.
