Kids and teens to fly for free on Young Eagles Day at Trenton-Mercer Airport

Kids and teens have to opportunity to fly in an aircraft for free on Young Eagles Day at Trenton-Mercer Airport.

Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 176 is sponsoring the event scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11 at the airport, 1100 Terminal Circle Drive, Ewing. Activities are set to take place on the Ronson Aviation ramp.

Individuals eight to 17 years old can join an EAA pilot for a 10 minute flight.

Throughout the event EAA representatives are set to teach participants about aircrafts and aviation.

Parents are welcome; however, they will not be allowed on the aircraft the flights.

Since 1992, EAA has provided free flight experiences to more than 1.5 million children around the nation through the Young Eagles program.

EAA is an organization dedicated to sharing its passion for aircraft and aviation through activities including the Young Eagles program and tours of historic aircraft.
