Science 4-Communities, a non-profit volunteer club based in West Windsor, was started by students from High School South and Monroe Township as part of the Mercer County-based 4-H organization. Club members include Tom Weng, Phillip Li, Walli Kazi, Krishna Mallem, Nikhil Dondapati, Alex Maeda, Akhil Dondapati, Apoorva Shah, and Steven Maa.

Through fundraising they presented four students from HomeFront families with school supplies including clothing, shoes, and backpacks. They presented 12 families with food for Thanksgiving.

The club members selected to support HomeFront, a nonprofit organization that helps parents work toward their GEDs and find jobs. They have visited HomeFront and taught the children about healthy living, sports, and provided childcare during summer vacation.

The youth plan to help the communities through health awareness and motivate the younger generation to become involved. For information contact Vani Kodandaram at 609-865-2166.
